Paul Hilding
Paul Hilding is a retired attorney with 35 years of experience in insurance coverage and bad faith law, representing policyholders. Also a passionate environmental advocate, Paul has served on the boards of environmental organizations and has provided pro bono legal services in connection with land conservation matters. He earned a law degree from Duke Law School and, to this day, remains a somewhat committed Duke basketball fan.
Paul and his wife Stephani moved to Idaho in 2007. He is an avid hiker, mountain biker, and skier. He also enjoys writing short stories and recently completed the first draft of a “cli-fi” novel he intends to revise during the upcoming less-than-promising basketball season (Duke without Coach K).
Life-changing books: Fun with Dick and Jane, when I was four, for obvious reasons; Plato’s Apology a couple of years later, because it is history’s first, and still best, account of a jury trial.
