Open Books, Open Minds Fundraiser with Nicola Yoon

  • Treefort Music Hall's Hap Hap Lounge 722 W Broad St (2nd floor) Boise, ID, 83702 United States (map)

Join us for The Cabin's Open Books, Open Minds Fundraiser on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 4-7 PM at the Treefort Music Hall’s Hap Hap Lounge.

Efforts to prevent book censorship have never been more urgent than they are now with the recent passing of House Bill 710. This legislation threatens to restrict access to essential literature, limiting the voices and stories available to our community.

In response, The Cabin is hosting our first-ever Open Books, Open Minds fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for our fight against literary censorship.

Join us on Sunday, November 10, from 4-7 PM at Treefort Music Hall’s Hap Hap Lounge for an evening with Nicola Yoon, author of Everything, Everything and The Sun is Also a Star.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to support our ongoing efforts to defend the right to read in our state and ensure a vibrant future for literary arts in our community. Reserve your tickets now and join us in championing the freedom to read!
