About Writers in the Schools (WITS)
WITS supports creative writing enrichment in grades 3 - 12 throughout the Treasure Valley. During the school year, local professional creative writers lead writing residencies at schools and juvenile detention centers. Through active, imaginative creative writing experiences crafted by Cabin teaching-writers, WITS engages students from all backgrounds in the power and pleasure of reading and writing.
