Jeremy Parkinson
Jeremy Parkinson, Board Treasurer, grew up in Idaho and has been in the investment and banking industry in Boise since 1998. He is currently a VP and Trust Department Manager for Bank of Idaho. He has extensive experience in investment management, financial planning, trust administration and estate settlement. Jeremy earned a degree in Finance from Idaho State University and an MBA from Boise State University. He has been awarded the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers. This is awarded to those who demonstrate excellence in the field of wealth management and trust. Jeremy also owns a roofing franchise in Boise, Mighty Dog Roofing with his son Blake. Blake runs the day-to-day operations and Jeremy helps with the finance and business side of it.
Jeremy and his wife Libby are the proud parents of three adult children. He enjoys spending time with his family and their three dogs. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves all sports. Outside of work, you will typically find him on the golf course, camping, or boating.
Jeremy enjoys reading books on sports or business, but has recently expanded his reading to include some fiction. The book that helped spur his love of reading was A Season on the Brink by John Feinstein. He read this book when he was in high school and fell in love with reading sports documentaries. He has read almost all of the books by Feinstein and would consider him his favorite author.
