Whether just starting to explore writing or currently practicing, this six-week, multi-genre course focuses on the tools of the creative writer. Each session will feature a specific “tool,”: Figurative language, imagery, shape and form, rhythm and music, reading as a writer, and revision. Using text models and prompts designed to inspire beginner and practicing writer alike, we will learn new skills, polish old ones, and refresh concepts. Regardless of genre—even if you don’t have a genre—this workshop with spark your creative fire.

This workshop will take place in person at The Cabin. Proof of vaccination and masks will be required. To maintain social distancing, we will be limiting this workshop to 9 participants. You can read about our COVID-19 policies here.


Tuition: $215 or $180 for Cabin Members
