Join us for an evening with Sandeep Jauhar, renowned speaker, author, and practicing cardiologist, as he tackles a thorny issue in his latest book, My Father’s Brain: Life in the Shadow of Alzheimer’s.
The event will be Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 7:30 PM (doors at 6:30 PM) at The Egyptian Theatre in Boise.
This event is part of The Cabin’s 2024-25 Readings & Conversations series.
About Sandeep Jauhar
Sandeep Jauhar is the bestselling author of four acclaimed books on healthcare and modern medicine: Intern, Doctored, and Heart: A History, which was named a best book of 2018 by Science Friday and a PBS NewsHour and New York Times book club pick. His latest book, My Father’s Brain, wrestles with the moral and psychological issues that arise when family members become caregivers. A practicing physician, Jauhar writes regularly for the opinion section of The New York Times. His TED Talk on the emotional heart was one of the ten most-watched TED Talks of 2019.
Tickets
If the event sells out or if you decide to attend the night of the event, you may be able to purchase a Rush Ticket. Rush Tickets are tickets given back to us from series ticket holders with schedule conflicts. Seats range anywhere from the front row to the back row. They are $20 for Cabin Members and $25 for the general public. They are sold on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6:30 PM the night of the event in The Egyptian Theatre lobby.
