Join us for The Cabin’s 2025 Open Books, Open Minds Fundraiser on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 4-7 PM at Treefort Music Hall’s Hap Hap Lounge.
Efforts to prevent book censorship remain more urgent than ever, as restrictive legislation continues to threaten access to diverse voices and essential literature in our community.
In response, The Cabin is hosting our semi-annual Open Books, Open Minds fundraiser to raise awareness and critical funds in the fight against literary censorship.
This year, we’re honored to welcome Jess Walter, award-winning author of Beautiful Ruins, The Cold Millions, and The Zero, for an evening of conversation, storytelling, and advocacy.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to support our mission to defend the right to read and ensure a future where all stories can be heard. Reserve your tickets now and stand with us in championing the freedom to read!
