We hope you’ll the Idaho Humanities Council and The Cabin for an evening with Angeline Boulley, celebrated author of Fire Keeper’s Daughter and Warrior Girl Unearthed, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at The Egyptian Theatre at 7:30 PM. This event is a 2024-25 Readings & Conversations add-on and is not included with Readings & Conversations series tickets.


About the Author

Angeline Boulley, an enrolled member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, is a storyteller who writes about her Ojibwe community in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She is a former Director of the Office of Indian Education at the U.S. Department of Education. Her debut novel, Firekeeper’s Daughter, was an instant #1 NYT Bestseller and is being adapted for television on Netflix by Higher Ground, Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company. The winner of many awards, the book was listed as one of the best 100 young adult books of all time by Time magazine.


Tickets

There are several ticket options to choose from:

  • $15 Basic Level - Basic tickets are supported by Benefactor Level ticket sales because we believe the humanities are for everyone and we want this event to be accessible to all. These seats are in the back half of the balcony.

  • $30 Full Level - Full Level tickets include the standard price of admission. We believe that those who can pay the standard price will do so as a gesture of support to our organization and to honor the work done by our team. These seats are in the front half of the balcony.

  • $50 True Level - True Level tickets include the direct costs associated with the event. If we sold every seat at this price point we would break even on the cost of hosting the event. These seats are in the back half of the main floor.

  • $75 Benefactor Level - Benefactor Level tickets include admission to the event and an invitation to a special reception with author Angeline Boulley before the lecture with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. These seats are in the front half of the main floor.
