Join us for an evening with Ed Yong, Pulitzer Prize winning science journalist and author of the bestsellers I Contain Multitudes and An Immense World.

The event will be Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 7:30 PM (doors at 6:30 PM) at The Egyptian Theatre in Boise.

Ed will be signing books after the event and Rediscovered Books will be onsite with a selection of his books for sale.

This event is part of The Cabin’s 2023-24 Readings & Conversations series.


About Ed Yong

Ed Yong is the best-selling author of I Contain Multitudes: The Microbes Within Us and An Immense World: How Animal Senses Reveal the Hidden Realms Around Us. An accomplished speaker and science staff writer for The Atlantic, Yong won the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for his crucial coverage of the coronavirus pandemic.


Rush Tickets

While this event is sold out to our Readings & Conversations series subscribers, we do regularly offer rush tickets which have been donated back to us by series ticket holders with schedule conflicts. Seats range anywhere from the front row to the back row. They are $20 for Cabin Members and $25 for the general public. They are sold on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6:30 PM the night of the event in The Egyptian Theatre lobby.
